Review: Bali V Hotel & Villa in Seminyak, Bali

The Bali V is set in the perfect location to explore the vibrant areas of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak. With comfort high on the agenda you’ll be sure to get a great night’s sleep before you head out to navigate the bustling streets, indulge in a luxury spa and watch the world-famous sunsets on Seminyak Beach.

Bali V

The Bali V hotel is based in Seminyak, which is full of upmarket, luxury accommodation and fashionable high-end restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is much more sophisticated and laid-back than Kuta, and the beach in particular is quieter during the day. Seminyak is also the high-end spa and boutique shopping capital of Bali. So you certainly won’t be bored here.

The Bali V boasts nine rooms, a mixture of superior and deluxe, all of which open out onto the inviting turquoise pool. There’s plenty of sunloungers so you’ll never be fighting for a spot, and just a few steps away the bar serves up fresh juices and ice-cold Bintangs. Breakfast is served from 9am til 10am and guests are given a choice of American or Asian, as well as a fresh fruit juice.

When we arrived at the Bali V we were greeted  big smiles and a delicious fresh watermelon juice, just what we needed in the midday sun! After checking in we had a dip in the gorgeous pool and enjoyed a spot of sunbathing in this pocket of tranquility, just a stones throw from the hustle and bustle. After a day of running errands we came back to the room to rest (and blog) and found the beds to be some of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever experience! The only two negatives we can mention from our visit was that the internet was not as good as some of the other places we’ve stayed but it was certainly sufficient for checking emails, Facebook, etc. We also found the water pressure to be a bit low in the shower but this might have been specific to our room which was further away from the others. Overall this is a great hotel to stop in, if location is your top priority, and a great nights sleep is high on your agenda!

We highly recommend you visit either Potato Head or Ku De Ta for sunset drinks and don’t forget to take your camera!
