What could be better than going on a vacation with your most loyal buddy? If you hate leaving your dog behind while you enjoy a vacation somewhere, well, fret not. There are spots and destinations where you can take your dog along and have a wonderful time together!

There is no need to look for boarding services or request a friend or family member to take care of your dog while you are away.  Just take your pet along to some of the most pet-friendly getaways that would welcome you both with open arms. San Diego in California
San Diego is mad about dogs and is sure to welcome your furry companion with open arms. You can enjoy some great local Californian cuisine and let your pet enjoy some home-made dog biscuits. Head for Canada’s oldest national park that boasts of miles and miles of glaciers. Explore those ice fields and coniferous forests and enjoy the adventure with your dog. You and your canine companion is sure going to love the fresh mountain air and the vast scenic views. Get on those trails with your pup in Colorado Springs and soak in the time and the experience. You can hike to Vista Loop, Royal Arch Trail and the Flatirons with your dog. Some sites that allow leashed pets include the Cripple Creek District Museum and the Manitou Cliff Dwelling.

Piedmont Dog Park is an off-leash area, and another interesting spot is Chattahoochee River National Recreation Park, where you can spend some quality time together. While you explore the local bars and restaurants, you can leave your pet at one of those many pet-friendly rentals.
