Travelling As A Couple To Malaysia: Everything You Should Do!

Travelling in a couple is great as you get to experience the world together and get some amazing pictures. Malaysia is a fantastic place to go to as a couple as there is so many places to visit and things to see while you are there. So whether it’s travelling, a holiday or a honeymoon, here is everything you should do together while you are in Malaysia.

See the orangutans in Borneo

One of the top things you should do when you travel as a couple to Malaysia is head to Borneo to go and see the wonderful orangutans. There is even an orangutan rehabilitation centre where you can volunteer so you can get even closer to the wonderful animals. It’s a great bonding experience, and if you are both fans of nature, you will love going here. You can also visit the Kinabatangan Rainforest where you will likely see some pygmy elephants and proboscis monkeys. You can stay in a lodge for a couple of nights, or even pitch your  tent overnight. You will never forget your visit here.

Visit one of the beautiful beaches

You should also consider going to Malaysia with your partner and staying at one of the beautiful beach resorts. It’s great to relax and enjoy the stunning sea views. Malaysia has some gorgeous beaches including popular Redang and Langkawi. Check out your proximity to the beach when you book your resort. You can find many gorgeous resorts around Malaysia for a reasonable price. You can get a 5-star pool villa in Malaysia for honeymooners if you are celebrating your recent marriage.

Visit the capital, Kuala Lumpur

Another thing you need to do when travelling as a couple to Malaysia is you need to go and visit the capital of Kuala Lumpur. It’s one of the biggest and most popular cities in the world, and there’s so much to see and do. You can both take in the views from the famous Petronas Towers which are one of the most well-known landmarks in the world. It’s also great for shopping, and there are several huge shopping complexes you will want to go and take a look in. It’s still only about an hour from the jungle, so it’s worth going there for a couple of days for something a little different.

Go trekking in the Cameron Highlands

You and your partner should also go trekking together in the Cameron Highlands. Situated in Pahang, the largest hill-station area is fantastic for some trekking, and you can see some amazing temples. You will also find many tea shops as there is a large tea plantation here. Visiting the Cameron Highlands is definitely something you will both won’t forget in a hurry.

Remember to go and get lots of food together while you are in Malaysia. There are some great restaurants selling traditional delights such as nasi lemak. Here are some delicious Malaysian street food treats you need to try while you are in the country.

Hope you enjoyed your journey. I live in KL and visit various beaches and Redang is the next. Is the picture you attached is from same beach?
